Event Details: 

Spotlightkids NY, is a children’s theater studio. Our mission is to bring theater and art to the youngest NYers.  We have a great day planned for your Stars. Actor, Neutral, READY TO GO!!! We will start our session with some fun music, and interactive movement to get everyone’s body’s ready!

We will have a series of crafts set up.

1- Decorating their own Mountain

2- Decorating their own Sun

3- Cookie Decorating

4- Decorating their own Torah Scroll

5- Mason Jar of Milk and Cookies for the Finale.

We will work on a small choreographed dance, with music that is theme related. For example, “Ain’t no mountain high enough.” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. The music will have a choreographed dance to work back to. We will narrate the story “ The Littlest Mountain” And each student will display the mountain they created in the arts and crafts portion of our class.  Maybe they are Mount Sinai or Mount Olympus.  All mountains are beautiful and special as portrayed in the book.

The Finale of our Show will all come together as the kids enjoy the cookie they decorated with a nice mason jar of Milk. We will invite families to come 10 minutes before class ends to see their stars’ mini debut.
